The Jungle, as its name suggests, is set in
exotic, sloping gardens with lush plants and
trees, waterfalls, fish ponds, and pathways
connecting the main house and the various
different terraces to the swimming pool at
the lowest level. The grounds cover nearly
5.5 acres which are completely fenced and
are accessed by an electric gate.
The house has terracotta tiled floors, stone
walls, wood beamed ceilings and is built on
several levels. The interiors are comfortable
and well equipped. The entrance leads into
the hallway with a fireplace, which leads to
a split level living room. The sunny yellow
kitchen is very well equipped. Both the
kitchen and living room open to a covered
dining terrace with steps to the pool and
garden. There is also a laundry room and a
half bath. On the ground floor there is a
double and a single bedroom which share a
bath. From the single bedroom a spiral
staircase leads to a studio on the lower level.
This comprises a double bedroom, bath,
living room and kitchenette. The studio also
has access to the gardens. On the upper level
of the main house is a double bedroom which
has use of the ground floor bath and a twin
bedroom with en-suite Jacuzzi bath. Both
bedrooms have access to a terrace which
overlooks the pool and gardens. The main
living rooms and bedrooms on the ground
floor have AIR CONDITIONING. The free-
form swimming pool has a waterfall and is
surrounded by terracing. There is a Jacuzzi
and a thatched gazebo with a built-in
barbecue.
