Amid the splendid scenery of the Serra La
Coma valley, this old stone farmhouse blends
beautifully with its backdrop. Sympathetically
restored to retain much of its old world charm
and character, the house is comfortably
furnished in traditional style, complemented by
contemporary comforts … the big farmhouse
kitchen, with its fireplace and dining table, is
redolent of bygone times. An outdoor terrace
bridges the gap between the house and its
swimming pool, furnished for al fresco meals
and shaded, in summer, with a large canvas
awning. The gardens are bright with great
splashes of color from various flowers and
shrubs, and an ancient carob joins palm, oak and
fig trees to offer natural shade. A broad entrance
gate leads you into this pocket of peace … and
keeps out a flock of inquisitive sheep!
(Large groups, requiring two or three houses,
could combine this with El Escondite - 100
metres away, and / or Ca'n Pau - 500 metres
from Ca'n Xeixa.)
