Simplicity and tranquility are
undisturbed at this rural hideaway,
sheltered at the head of a mountain
valley. A short drive from Pollensa -
and a world apart.
Only a few minutes drive brings you
from the bustling life in Pollensa to
a countryside escape in the Serra la
Coma Valley. You approach the
house through a field shared by sheep
(be careful to close the gate behind
you!) and you find the charming little
cottage surrounded by pine, fig and
carob trees. There's a grassy area for
sunbathing and a partially fenced -in
pool. A broad terrace under the big
dappled shade tree is furnished for al
fresco dining and looks out to the
surrounding hills - where the odd
mountain goat may be grazing. The
house is simply furnished in the rustic
style of the region but is equipped for
comfort. There's a roof terrace for a
different perspective on those glorious
views. On spring and autumn
afternoons, the mountain cools the
grounds with shade, and in all seasons
the house provides walkers and
naturalists with an ideal base.
