Large grounds give a sense of seclusion, yet
Old Alcudia's shops; sands and restaurants
are all within strollable reach. Really rustic
and rather special.
Restored, rather than modernized, and
recreating its rustic origins with imaginative
finishing touches, this little doll house of a
cottage is absolutely charming. All the modern
conveniences you'd expect are here but the
delightful outdoor terrace seems unchanged
since the cottage was built, ivy climbing and
curling around its posts and beams, morning
glory tumbling over the top to provide cool
shade. There is bags of space around the pool
for sunbathing and trees are clustered
throughout the half-acre grounds. Within the
house are two bedrooms, a living/dining
room, kitchen and bathroom. Active pursuits,
including golf and horse riding, are available
at Pollensa, and Alcudia has tennis courts, a
stunning beach and a feast of restaurants that
begin just a ten minute walk away from
Olivers Petit.
