Sa Punta is one of the handsome villas that occupy the Son Buñola estate in northwestern Majorca. Suspended between the mountains of the Tramuntana and the glittering sea that washes this spectacular coastline, the estate is remote and utterly private - a refuge from the crowded modern world with an extremely high level of service.
Stunning in its concept and design, Sa Punta is built in an adaptation of the traditional Majorcan style, with walls of rose colored stone that form the perfect background to peaceful courtyards and wide terraces. Inside, white walls are set off by tile floors and sloping beamed ceilings, with natural colors predominating, highlighted by some colorful works of art and comfortable furniture. Each bedroom has its own terrace and en-suite marble bathroom, all living areas have independent AIR CONDITIONING. The villa is particularly well equipped for home entertainment with SAT TV, DVD, VCR, CD player, a selection of videos and a small library, as well as internet access. Continental breakfasts are arranged and a chef provides a buffet lunch, pre dinner canapés and a three course dinner. The large, private swimming pool is beautifully sited, amidst green lawns, reflecting tall, graceful trees that frame the glorious view of the sea. There is also a tennis court on the estate, and the entire 3700 acres are open for guests to wander at will. There is direct access to a pebble beach from the estate. The traditional villages of Banyalbufar and Esporles are a few kms/ away, providing a variety of restaurants, tapas bars and other local amenities. Also, Valdemossa, with its fabled monastery and the lovely Deja are no more than a half hour away. At Sa Punta, however, if you are looking for a relaxing and restorative holiday, you will not need to venture beyond the gates of this lovely estate.
