resorts within easy reach for year round
holidays.
A good family house with oodles of charm
and ample mature gardens, the Casa Ripala
stands in a cul-de-sac between Quinta do
Lago and Vale do Lobo, a short drive from
Ancao beach and slightly further to other
beaches including Garrao. The excellent
beach restaurants, as well as some of the
best restaurants ion the Algarve, are only a
few minutes by car. Casa Ripala is a
spacious and quite private house, each of
its twin and double bedrooms has an en-
suite bath and terrace. Running along the
back of the villa is a terrace sheltered by a
tiled roof, bright bougainvillea climbing up
its columns and is reflected in the
swimming pool. On two floors, each with
its own sitting area, the house lends itself
to large families, or two families travelling
together. The library is particularly
relaxing, with lovely distant views to the
nature preserve of Rio Formosa, and an
open fire that makes for cozy nights on
winter stays, while summer comfort comes
in the form of sunloungers under the palms
of the poolside terrace. A typical Algarve
house with a welcoming atmosphere.
