an artist will probably occur to you soon after, for Casa
Muneca is stuffed with books and paintings, antiques and
artifacts, rugs and rustic charm. The sitting/ dining rooms
a delight of terracotta tiled floors, big beams crossing the
ceiling and French windows opening onto a terrace - from
where the peaceful hills roll down to the sea. Approached
via a fairly steep track, the cottage is one of several
scattered along a high ridge, within easy reach of the coast
at Estepona. Its extensive grounds are stepped into the
south-facing slope and lead to the swimming pool and
suntrap terrace just below the house. To retain the rarified
ambience, the house can be booked for up to five adults or
four adults with two children.
