Hidden in the hauntingly beautiful 'valley
of the springs', and finished to perfection
in traditional style, this happy hacienda
will delight discerning travellers.
Only those 'in the know' or those who
stumble upon it see the forested valley
which houses this lovely villa, so if you
want to get away from it all - just don't
give anyone directions! Built by the
owners (who live nearby), the house took
seven years to complete and excellent
standards are the result. At first glance
this looks like an old 'alamo' dwelling,
with large iron gates leading into its
central courtyard - part canopied for
shade and focused on a fountain. From
this pretty and private tiled area, there are
doors to almost every room in the house,
taking you to interior comfort enhanced by
wood and terracotta. After the old world
impression come new world comforts - a
bath or a shower en suite to every bedroom
(including a spa bath to the 'master'), and
a split level terrace set amid lawns and
orchards - home to a swimming pool and
outdoor Jacuzzi. A great place to get lost
in the country - less than 30 km from
Marbella.
