La Colina is a delightful villa situated in a
secluded rural location in the foothills of
the mountains behind the attractive resort
of Estepona, with its charming old quarter,
Saturday market and excellent fish and
tapas bars. From the property there are
spectacular views to the coast and
Mediterranean Sea, and on a clear day,
Gibraltar and the coast of North Africa can
be seen in the distance.
The fashionable resorts of Marbella and
Puerto Banus are within an easy drive,
together with a wide range of restaurants
and entertainment, including Auquaparks,
available on the coast. Also close by, are a
selection of championship golf courses,
including Sotogrande, Valderrama, Las
Brisas and the stunning mountain course of
Monte Major, as well as excellent facilities
for riding and tennis. For those who want to
explore the old Spain of inland Andalucia,
the property is conveniently placed for
visiting the white towns of Casares and
Gaucin and the unspoiled beautiful
mountainous countryside.
The property is accessed via a driveway with plenty of parking, and through a picturesque courtyard with fountain, plants and flowers. The accommodation is on two levels and the rooms are comfortably furnished to a high standard, with terracotta floors and many antiques. The bedrooms on the lower level open to a terrace, leading to the swimming pool with pool furniture and a barbeque, with a lawn beyond. The resident owners live in a separate cottage on the grounds, which is available for smaller groups of four people during the winter months. All rentals at La Colina include 8 rounds of golf at El Paraiso Golf Course!
