In a secluded location on the outskirts of
Gaucin, and within easing walking distances
of the village amenities, the villa has superb
views over the shimmering mountains and
up to the castle. Situated at the beginning of
the track that leads up to the castle, the villa
has the added benefit of easy parking. The
gardens are particularly lovely, the trees,
the lawns and flowers bathing the house in a
fragrant coolness and lending it unusual
privacy. On the lower level, an elegant,
shaded outdoor dining area overlooks the
garden and the beautiful swimming pool
while a broad terrace on a higher level,
paved with honey colored tiles, allows
perfect relaxation in sun or shade while
enjoying the stunning, far reaching views.
The bedrooms and living room, with their
high beamed ceilings are large and cool, and
decorated in exquisite colors, highlighted by
some very decorative pieces of local furniture,
paintings, pottery and fabrics. The kitchen is
very up-to-date-, and there is SAT TV and
X-Box. Gaucin is generally a quiet sleepy
village apart from early August, when the
colorful and exciting Feria takes place -
nights to remember! Serenely beautiful, with
gardens that perfectly compliment the house.
