Like its neighbor, the Cortijo de la Arailla,
this utterly charming little cottage is 300
years old, restored and converted with great
flair into the perfect hideaway for a couple.
It is most unusual in having a good sized
swimming pool placed in a beautiful,
private garden setting with trees and lawns,
up a few steps from the house. The two
white washed buildings are linked by a
covered terrace and are reached by steps
up from the parking area. The main
building houses the living room, that leads
in turn to a double bedroom with en-suite
bath with shower, and across the terrace is
the kitchen, where an unusual dining table
made from old tree trunks bears witness to
the owners desire to retain the old rural
atmosphere of his properties. This really is a
very special little cottage for two, most
unusual in the size of the garden and pool.
For larger parties, in combination with its
neighbor, the Cortijo, and with Don Toribo
across the track, this would bed ideal.
