Villa Humés is a family home, rented out
only in high season, and as such, it has a
pleasingly relaxed feel to it, and is clearly a
house that has been designed to provide a
calm and comfortable holiday environment.
The villa is decorated throughout in shades
of cream and white, set off by just the right
amount of color here and there, and by just
the right amount of pictures and lamps.
The bedrooms are light and feminine, each
with its own en-suite bath, while the master
double bedroom has its own bath. The two
bedrooms on the first floor are AIR
CONDITIONED, while the others have
ceiling fans. The living room, also AIR
CONDITIONED, has large, comfortable
sofas. In general, the house just seems to be
waiting for its guests to invest it with their
own personality for the duration of their stay.
A streamlined, very well equipped kitchen
flows into the charming semi-outdoor dining
room with sliding glass doors and an awning.
This in turn opens on to a lovely lawn, part
of the immaculate garden that encloses the
house and, with its high hedges and
strategically placed shrubs and trees, gives it
a great sense of privacy. On the other side of
the villa is another outdoor dining and
breakfast terrace, with a built-in barbecue
nearby, overlooking an attractive swimming
pool that is surrounded by areas of paving
and grass furnished with comfortable sun
loungers. This really is a most attractive
house, very well equipped in general, both
inside and out, modern and comfortable,
and ideally situated for exploring the Costa
de Sol - including golf at El Paraiso, just 2
kms. away - and visiting the fascinating
towns and sights of the area. There is a
beach about ten minutes walk away at
Benamara and shops, restaurants and bars
are only five minutes walk away.
