The beach promenade starts by the lighthouse in Torrox and it continues to the neighbouring village of El Morche to the west. Actually it is possible to walk along the sea all the way to the next lighthouse in Torre del Mar about 15 km away. Nerja is found 5 km in the east direction along the sea.
